This is for the doctor to say, but do know that this sort of worry and anxiety can cause many of these symptoms. Google or other search engine "anxiety disorder" and you will see that the inability to think when anxious, the inability to multitask as you could, the "scattering of the brain" can often be anxiety. Wishing you luck. Speak with your doctor. They can do further testing or refer you for it. GOOD to have a baseline. Try not to overworry it; more anxiety and it will get WORSE. Just follow up.

Michelle, Talk to your doctor about the anger. And you have a lot to deal with right now. I hope you have kept your family in the loop as far as what the doctor has said.
Now a BIG task for you.
You NEED to consult with an Elder Care Attorney. You are going to have to set up paperwork for POA for Health and Finances. You need to discuss with your family what you want done and when. Do NOT make them promise that they will not put you in a"home" you will need 24/7/365 care eventually and if you have read posts on this site you know how difficult it is to provide proper care at home if the people and the home are not properly set up. Sometimes it works sometimes not so much. You decide how much you want your kids to do along with their input.
You have what most would consider Early Onset Dementia (Alzheimer's if that is what has been diagnosed)
Please keep us posted and let us know how things are going.

"Plaques of a brain protein called amyloid beta are a characteristic sign of Alzheimer's disease. ... The sticky clumps, known as amyloid plaques, are composed primarily of a brain protein called amyloid beta. But nestled within the plaques are small amounts of another Alzheimer's protein: APOE.Mar 26, 2018"

This is really a question for your doctor. I would tell him about your anger too.
